The wholesale freight forwarder Air Menzies International (AMI) has today announced its relocation to a larger, modern facility in Cape Town, South Africa.

The company said the move will enhance service delivery and further support the its growth ambitions.

Located just a short distance from Cape Town International Airport, the new facility offers faster transit times, reduced handling of shipment, and close proximity to airline handling agents – “ensuring smoother and more efficient operations”.

The new facility has additional warehouse space, providing ample room for operations and advanced cooler and freezer facilities equipped with temperature control loggers, ensuring optimal conditions for perishable goods.

A one-way traffic flow system eliminates congestion at entry and exit points, while additional parking bays facilitate seamless truck offloading, ensuring zero delays.

The premises are monitored 24/7 with comprehensive CCTV surveillance and controlled access, ensuring the highest level of security.

Further, the entire facility is designed with sustainability in mind, the company claimed, utilising eco-friendly equipment and energy-efficient lighting.

With this significant upgrade, AMI said it is well-positioned to continue delivering exceptional service to customers, while also supporting sustainable practices.

Carlos Font, CEO of Air Menzies International, said: “This impressive new facility is an important leap for AMI South Africa, as we continue to strengthen our value proposition and our ability to serve our clients.

“I also want to thank Milton French and Christina Adams for their leadership, vision and extraordinary passion.”
