In a move to enhance digital autonomy and flexibility for its cargo customers, Air France KLM Martinair Cargo has rolled out a major update to its myCargo platform: allotment customisation. This new feature enables customers with contracted capacity to manage their allotments with the same autonomy as spot bookings.

Key Features of the Update:

  • AWB Number Selection: Use of customer-defined Air Waybill numbers for smoother internal processing
  • O&D Flexibility: Specify origin and destination to match routing needs
  • Cargo & Handling Inputs: Add detailed shipment data to meet contract requirements
  • Shipper Selection: Designate shippers in line with contractual terms

Customer Benefits:

  • Full Flexibility: Manage complex multiorigin/multidest contracts with ease
  • Increased Efficiency: Avoid delays linked to pre-assigned AWBs
  • Empowered Self-Service: Bookings now fully digital and customer-controlled

GertJan Roelands, SVP Commercial, Air France KLM Martinair Cargo:
“This is a game-changer. It puts customers in full control of their allocations, 24/7, and marks a significant step in our commercial digital transformation.”

The update underlines the airline’s focus on customer-centric innovation and sets the stage for more digital enhancements in the near future.
