Air Charter Service Surpasses 30,000 Flights in Record-Breaking Year

Global air charter broker Air Charter Service (ACS) achieved a significant milestone in 2024, arranging more than 30,000 flights for the first time since its founding in 1990.

Founder and chairman Chris Leach reflected on the achievement:

“In 2024, we arranged 30,290 flights, an incredible accomplishment in just one year. On average, an ACS-chartered flight took off somewhere in the world every 17 and a half minutes, every day throughout the year.”

ACS specializes in both passenger and cargo charters, with 2024 showcasing the company’s wide-ranging operations.

“The variety of flights we arranged and the destinations we served was truly remarkable,” Leach said.

“Our flights played key roles in evacuations and humanitarian relief missions, facilitated world tours for international superstars, and even supported wildlife conservation efforts by relocating 39 rhinos.”

Throughout the year, ACS chartered aircraft from more than 1,400 airlines, reaching over 200 countries worldwide.

ACS’s continued investment in expansion contributed to the surge in charter volumes. In 2024, the company opened three new offices in Manchester, Dublin, and Munich. This growth has continued into 2025, with ACS launching its 35th global office—and first in Italy—in Milan earlier this month.

With further expansion planned, Leach emphasized the huge market potential in Italy for both cargo and passenger operations.

Looking ahead, ACS is poised for another strong year. With January 2025 flight numbers up 12.1% compared to the same month in 2024, Leach concluded:

“We are in great shape for an even stronger 12 months ahead.”
